Health and Wellness

At YWCA Central Maine, we believe that wellness is about more than physical fitness—it’s about connection, confidence, and community. Our Health & Wellness programs and our pool offer opportunities for people of all abilities and ages to thrive. From open swimming times to our MS Wellness Program, which supports individuals living with multiple sclerosis through guided movement and strength-building, to American Red Cross certifications that prepare participants to lead safely in and around the water, we’re committed to helping every person reach their potential.

Our pool partnerships bring even more vitality to our community—hosting local swim teams, scuba programs, and the Summer Olympics swim events, all in our fully accessible, regulation-size pool. Whether you’re training, learning, or simply enjoying time in the water, YWCA Central Maine is your place to grow stronger—together.
