Swim Lessons & Aquatics Scholarships

Access to water safety and swimming skills can save lives and build confidence. YWCA Central Maine offers scholarships for swim lessons and aquatics programs so that cost is not a barrier for families. Programs include: Youth swim lessons, Lifeguard certification, Therapeutic aquatics programs. If you have any questions or would like to discuss a scholarship, please contact our swim lesson department at swimlessons@ywcamaine.org.

Summer Camp Scholarships

At YWCA Central Maine, we believe every child deserves the chance to experience a safe, enriching, and joy-filled summer—regardless of financial circumstances. Thanks to the generosity of our community and supporters, a limited number of summer camp scholarships are available to help families access our programs.

Our camps provide opportunities for children ages 6–12 to build confidence, make new friends, stay active, and create lasting memories in a supportive and inclusive environment.

We encourage families who may benefit from financial assistance to apply. Scholarships are awarded based on need, and early application is recommended as funds are limited.
