Aquatics
YWCA Central Maine is home to the only regulation-size, fully accessible public pool in the Lewiston-Auburn area, serving as a vibrant hub for learning, recreation, and community connection. Our aquatics program offers swim lessons for all ages, recreational and therapeutic swim opportunities, team activities, and culturally responsive programs that welcome everyone. Certified instructors and dedicated staff focus on skill development and safety, ensuring every swimmer feels supported.
Through strong community partnerships, we make affordable swim lessons accessible to local youth. From birthday parties to swim meets, rehabilitation to wellness programs, the YWCA pool is more than a place to swim — it’s a true community center.
Now offering Adapted Aquatics!
Adapted aquatics is a specialized aquatic program designed to make swimming and water-based activities accessible to individuals with disabilities or other unique physical, developmental, or sensory needs.
Activities are modified to meet each participant’s abilities, goals, and comfort level while promoting water safety, physical fitness, independence, confidence, and enjoyment. Instruction may include adapted swimming techniques, water adjustment, mobility exercises, and recreational activities in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Seniors (62+ years) = $55
Youth (up to 21 years) = $45
Family of 5 or more = $250

Punch Card (5 swims, 30-day expiration):
