At YWCA Central Maine, our Single Gender Swim program provides a safe, supportive environment for women and girls to learn and improve their swimming skills. These classes are designed to help participants build confidence in the water, develop lifelong skills, and enjoy the health and wellness benefits of swimming—all without the distractions or self-consciousness that can sometimes come in co-ed settings. Whether learning to swim for the first time, improving technique, or preparing for water safety, our trained instructors provide personalized guidance and encouragement in a welcoming, empowering space.
