Summer Camp ↘
Ages 6 to 12 Years
Adventure. Friendship. Confidence. All Summer Long.
Every summer, children discover new interests, build lasting friendships, stay active, and create memories they'll never forget. Our Summer Camp offers a safe, inclusive environment where kids can explore, learn, swim, play, and simply enjoy being kids—all while families have the peace of mind that comes from trusted, quality care.
Summer Camp is in Full Swing!
We're making memories all summer long—and we can't wait to welcome new campers next year.
Y the W?
More Than Summer Childcare
Summer should be filled with adventure—not screen time.
At YWCA Central Maine, camp is intentionally designed to keep children engaged, active, and growing. Every day includes opportunities to build confidence, develop friendships, explore creativity, and stay physically active through games, outdoor play, swimming, and hands-on learning experiences.
Whether your child joins us for one week or the entire summer, they'll be welcomed into a caring community where every child belongs.
A Typical Camp Day
While every week brings something new, campers can look forward to:
Morning games and group activities
Creative arts and crafts
Outdoor adventures and playground time
Swimming and water safety
Lunch and snack
STEM and enrichment projects
Team challenges and special events
Afternoon free choice and friendships
Every day is thoughtfully planned to balance activity, creativity, learning, and fun.
