SCHOOL AGE CARE
The School-Age Program, for ages 5-12, run by YWCA of Central Maine offers before and after school care as well as care during summer, vacations, teacher in-service days and some holidays and snow days. The program is located at the YWCA although school-age children from other schools can be bused to the program as well. Other schools served include: Farwell, Geiger and McMahon (bused to YWCA).
School-age care is offered at Martel during regularly scheduled school days only. Before-School Care, vacation, snow care, summer vacation, holiday and teacher workshop days are offered at the YWCA of Central Maine site at 130 East Avenue in Lewiston.
The YWCA offers a stimulating, active, creative and fun environment and offers swim and enrichment programs at the YWCA at a deeply discounted rate.
Rates for School-Age Care
Before School Care: $35 per week
After School Care: $63 per week
Before and After School Care: $90 per week
Vacation Week Care: $138
Holiday, Snow, Teacher Workshop Day Care: $35 per day
All the YWCA child care programs are licensed by the state.
