Today, we launch the Funding for the Future Campaign. Funds will be invested to build energy efficiencies, upgrade the aging facility, and create a strategy for a sustainable future. This will include paying down the mortgage and debt so that the YWCA can continue to serve from a position of strength in programming and leadership. The campaign will revitalize our beloved YWCA and strengthen the ability to deliver services.
The YWCA is a nonprofit and an important charitable organization that keeps our community healthy, takes care of our children, offers enriching and unique programs and provides a place for individuals from every generation and ability-level to connect, empowered.
As important as the YWCA’s accomplishments have been, still greater contributions lie ahead. This is no easy task, this is no ordinary organization…. we need your help.
We ask for the support of our business leaders, partners and the people in our community to help lead our effort to fund for the future. to help:
• Volunteer: We are in need of talented people to serve on committees for: Finance, Development, Marketing, Membership, Special Events, and Facilities
• Financial Support: We are in need of funding to build capacity and to strengthen operations and programming
• Leadership: We will be expanding our Board of Directors
