Pre-School and Pre-K
YWCA of Central Maine Child Care Program offers an excellent staff to child ratio in a true preschool and pre-k environment. Part-time and full-time care are offered in both programs and half-day care is offered for Pre-K. Our classrooms follow the Maine Learning Standards with a balance of free play, significant adult and peer social interaction and an exciting curriculum designed to increase children’s confidence socially and prepare them for the school-years ahead. Breakfast and snacks are provided daily. Two outside play times are built into the daily schedule and playground equipment is specific to the interests and safety of the children in our care.  
 
Rates for Pre-School and Pre-K
Full Time (Monday through Friday): $128-$133 per week
3 Days a Week: $85 per week
2 Days a Week: $60 per week
Extra days available as space permits: $35 per day
 
Swim and Enrichment
Structured swim time is built into the Pre-School and Pre-K schedules every week at no additional charge. Structured swim is a time for children to enjoy fun and games in the pool with their teachers and classmates. Swim Lessons are also available during program hours for Pre-School and Pre-K and during non-program hours for School-Age at an additional, deeply-discounted rate. Swim Lessons are taught by certified instructors and a certified lifeguard is on deck at all times.
 
Enrichment programs include the following: art, pottery, theater, science discovery Lego robotics, foreign language, sign language, fitness and sports, financial literacy, cartooning, nature exploration, music, diversity education and computers. These are offered at a minimal, additional charge on-site through our collaboration with Fiddlehead Center whose mission is to help each child grow through creativity, discovery and pure fun through quality enrichment programs in art, science and cultural exploration.
 
School-Age
YWCA of Central Maine School-Age Program is offered at both Martel and Montello Schools, and offers a stimulating, active, creative and fun environment! School-age children from other schools can be bused to the program as well. Other schools served include: Farwell (bused to Martel), Geiger and McMahon (bused to Montello), School-Age Care is offered at Montello and Martel during regularly scheduled school days only. Vacation, snow care and teacher workshop days will be offered at the YWCA of Central Maine site. School-Age participants qualify to participate in swim and enrichment programs at a deeply discounted rate.

After School Care: $60 per week
Before and After School Care: $88 per week
Vacation Week Care: $138
Holiday, Snow, Teacher Workshop Day Care: $35 per day
